To our valued guests, The well-being and safety of our guests and employees have always been our priority. In response to the outbreak of COVID-19 we want to reassure you that we are taking many preventative measures to ensure the health and safety of our community. Communication to employees o COVID-19 updates and guidelines: we are closely monitoring the updates from Canadian health authorities and the WHO to ensure compliance with COVID-19 guidelines o Prevention in the kitchen: we are increasing the frequency of our comprehensive hand washing and surface cleaning program – a dedicated team member will be assigned to monitor staff to ensure vigilant hand washing and cleaning of food prep surfaces Hygiene o Sanitization:  all common areas, door handles, and frequently touched areas are regularly sanitized  all table and chairs are cleaned and sanitized at the end of each guest  our paper menus are recycled after each guest and a new menu is issued  table items will not be reused with back-to-back guests o Electronic and Handheld Devices: All electronic devices for taking orders and processing payment will be sanitized at the end of each service. o Seating: we have removed some tables in our dining room and café to allow for social distancing, staff have been instructed to allow as much space as possible between tables and guests o Personal contact: our staff will abstain from shaking hands o Handwashing dispensers: guests have access to a hand-sanitizing dispenser placed at the entrance to the dining room; employees have access to designated hand sanitizing areas in the administrative offices, the kitchen and the staff locker room Employee policy o Travel: any staff travelling out-side of Canada are asked to stay home for 14 days upon return o Self-isolation: staff that are experiencing flu-like symptoms will be asked to self-isolate and must cleared by a physician to return to work We are grateful to be living and working in Canada and we are proud of our public health authorities for their intelligent and measured response to this outbreak and for providing us with a way forward.
